The Village Bakery

I’m Richard Jucker – the creator and owner of The Village Bakery. As a native Houstonian, I have spent almost my entire adult life either in the bakery business, or in food services. And although my father was one of the original owners of Three Brothers Bakery, and I had worked there from 1981 to 1999, it wasn’t until May of 2013 that I had the opportunity to open my own bakery. At the Village Bakery, I’m committed to using only the finest and freshest ingredients in everything we make. You can count on us to bring you the very best in baked goods.

I spent years perfecting my craft of baking, as well as custom cake design – from sculptures, hand painted portrait cakes, as well wedding cakes. If it’s a custom creation you need, I’ll work closely with you in the planning process to come up with a design that combines quality and creativity.
