The San Francisco Sailing Company was started by Erik Ostrander. During his MBA program, he had written a business plan for a sailboat charter. Erik decided he would give it a shot for a season to see if it could make a little cruising cash to sail around the world and that is when the San Francisco Sailing Company was born. Years later, he would accomplish his dream of sailing around the world with his wife Elizabeth. In 2014, Erik brought on his best friend and business partner Jacob Morgan to innovate and expand the business. Today, SF Sailing Co has grown to a fleet of 14 boats, added a sailing school, and constructed a crew of some of the best Captains/Mates in San Francisco.
