As a Bay Area native raised rolling down Highway 1 to Big Sur and taking annual trips to the meadows of Yosemite, Anna’s appreciation of nature started at an early age. Her floral background began with a bit of luck while she was a college student studying Art & Design at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, when she was hired at a local favorite floral shop, Open Air Flowers. She soon realized that floral design was the perfect intersection of nature, art, and design, and her career took off from there.
Anna has worked with some of the Bay Area’s most talented designers over the years, including her mentor, Mary Lois Hare. She gained invaluable experience during a year-long internship in London in 2007, where she worked with world-renowned floral designer Paula Pryke. Anna is inspired by her many great teachers (turned friends) as well as the meaningful relationships she develops with every one of her clients.
