Laura Sponaugle Photography

My love of photography began when I was a child, watching my grandfather take pictures: he was an amateur photographer with the heart, patience, and passion of Ansel Adams. Following in his footsteps, I “followed my bliss” and earned a degree in photography from the University of Texas at Austin. I grew inspired by living abroad in Spain and Mexico and learning so much about different cultures. I then moved to Napa Valley where I photographed my very first wedding. As I fell in love with telling stories, I moved back to Texas to grow my business and to be with my family. I have now been photographing love stories, families, lifestyle and events for over a decade. While I typically work in Austin and Houston, you will find me shooting weddings and events all over the world.
