My name is Kim and I’m a writer, Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician, and mental health advocate. After building a successful wedding photography business for over 15 years, I decided to change course and pursue a career in mental health and substance abuse. What I bring to the table is personal lived experience, a strong passion for helping others, and the continuous pursuit of knowledge. I am currently attending American River College to become a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and am planning to attend graduate school for my Master’s in Social Work. I’m currently seeking a position as an RADT to begin earning my clinical hours.
